In 2012 Edo State governorship election held in Nigeria on 14 July 2012. Action congress of Nigeria ACN nominee Adams Oshiomhole won the election by defeating Charles Airhiavbere candidate from people democratic party PDP
Adams Oshiomhole emerged ACN after he was returned as the sole candidate and his running Pius Odubu. Charles Airhiavbere was the candidate from PDP PARTY.
